You can now verify the mileage of your vehicle in reference to the information in the online EAA Roadworthiness Inspection certificate.

To view your vehicle's online copy of the EAA Roadworthiness Inspection Certificate,

2. Select ‘Verify Your Vehicle’s Mileage’
3. Enter your vehicle's “Chassis/Frame Number" and press 'Verify Certificate'.

EAA Roadworthiness Inspection is a complete assessment of the vehicle which is undertaken before the vehicle is shipped. Once the inspection is done, an inspection certificate, including the mileage at the time of inspection, is issued.

Some car dealers tamper with the vehicle's mileage. A vehicle with tampered mileage represents an increased risk for the buyer which directly affects the residual value, price, functionality, and durability of the vehicle.

Accessing your online E-Certificate is free of charge.

The E-Certificate is currently only available for vehicles shipped from Japan from the 1st of August 2015 to the 1st of March 2021, and after the 20th of July 2022.
