OPERATOR

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for Operating the Feeder table station and carrying out maintenance during scheduled stops, breakdowns, and off-crop.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Carries out maintenance and repair of all Feeder table station and general parts
Attend all breakdowns of machines and machine parts during crushing season
Operates feeder table station according to the procedure
Physical checkup that no abnormality on the machines during operation
Ensure communication with relevant stakeholders during the operation
Ensure cane crush target and DRD achieved as per plan
Ensures safety of people and machines, by ensuring that all set lockout procedures adhered
Ensures effective communication on all matters that arises, by ensuring that all problems are reported immediately to the relevant authorities
Performs any other duties as assigned by relevant authority, by obeying the instruction as given by any superior
Check and communicate machine condition and safety before starting up including feeder tables, feeder drum and cane kickers

Job Requirements:

Form 1V certificate accompanied by fitter mechanics from a recognized Institution.
2 years working experience in Plant machinery maintenance and repairs preferably in manufacturing.

TERMS OF SERVICE: The successful candidate will be engaged on Fixed Term Contract.
