Responsibilities:
- Support the Growth Lead with the overall management and monitoring of all expansion activities by tracking progress and reporting gaps where necessary.
- Keeping track of the inventory and accessories count to ensure that all packs and accessories are accounted for and that there is 0% missing or lost in the office during the expansion process.
- Communicating on any supply chain needs for inventory and technical equipment to reach set expansion targets across all regions undergoing expansion.
- Ensure that all documentations involved in the expansion process are well filled in their appropriate folders in the shared drive.
- Support management of people and implementation of key initiatives according to the set standards
- Build and maintain relations with local government members and any other key external players involved in the setup of new sites in the Jazaverse.
- Ensure that all licenses and permits for new regions and new sites are applied for and follow up to ensure they are issued appropriately.
- Manage the handover of the region to the assigned Regional Coordinator for the respective region by ensuring that all pending tasks, documentations, tools and equipment are properly maintained and handed over and a sign off is done.
- Ensure that the Expansion project timeline and work plan are up to date and flag any issues that may result in any changes to the timeline to the Growth Lead.
- Assisting with the regional set up requirements for new regions through leasing of regional offices if necessary, ensuring all government permits and licenses are applied for.
- Working closely with the procurement and shipment team to ensure that all shipments for expansion needs are appropriately shipped out, received and stored
- Update the team each month through the use of the retrospect document on the expansion targets versus actuals, the risks or challenges that may hinder accomplishment of said targets and suggested solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or any other related field.
- 5+ years of experience in market expansion, business development, or strategic planning.
- Proven track record of successful market entry and expansion initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to travel as required.
